Information about Mt.Kurodake
Seeing from the 5th station of Mt.Kurodake, at first I thought snow was melting.
But I tried climbing Mt.Kurodake, there was much snow.
From the beginning to the 8th station the trail is all snow.
After that some part of trail has no snow, but sometimes the trail much snow.
On the top of 9th station and just beneath the summit there is much snow.
When you climb up to Mt,Kurodake and climb down, you must be careful not to fall down and not to fall through under the snow.(because there is big space under the snow.)
And when it’s foggy, you must be careful, too.
In the morning and night snow surface will freeze and become hard.
When the wind is blowing hard, the temperature on the top is very low, freezing.
When you are moving, you may not feel cold.
You need something warm to wear.
You need full equipment to climb, and take your time and walk safely.

In these days it has been cold and chilly.
Today on the 5th station of Mt.Kurodake it snows!
The other day all Daisetuzan mountain range got snow.
And also Mountain pass had snow, too.

Snow in the wrong season will we worry about weather this year?
We worry about the wild flower’s blooming.

The beginning of this week here in Sounkyo the temperature was rising to around 30°
But in these days it is very cold all day.
The weather forecast says that next week this weather will stay, and it might snow in the middle of week.
On the other hand snow is melting steadily.
On ridgeline and windswept land wild flower is almost blooming.
But we are worry that this cold weather have a bad influence on wild flower buds.

Every year weather is upsetting us.
We hope that it won’t snow on the mountains.
