The famous sightseeing spot “Momijidani valley”

Day by day red leaves are getting bright.
As photo shows, some maple leaves are really red and beautiful.

At Momijidani valley until October 14th we held “amazing illumination” that is autum leaves event.

We light up leaves every night.

Sounkyo gorge
Day by day leaves are getting brighter.
Many leaves are still green. Many tourists take photos.

The beginning of October weather forecast says that big typhoon is coming.
We hope these beautiful leaves stay and keep.

And due to this typhoon road and pass and forest road might close.
We don’t recommend you to go hiking
Because on the mountains it will snow.

Autumn leaves information about Kougen Onsen numameguri couse

From the trailhead of Kougen onsen numameguri course some leaves start turn red and yellow.
Around Takiminuma lake autumn leaves are the best to see.
At Kougen numa and Karanuma that be located high altitudes many leaves are dying and falling.
But “Sorbus matsumurana” is still red and beautiful.
As a whole “A.tschonoskii Maxim” ‘s yellow is really bright.
On the trail there is beautiful yellow leaves tunnel.
It is worth visiting and seeing autumn leaves.

Autumn leaves about Sounkyo gorge
Some leaves start changing color at Sounkyo gorge.
Most of leaves are still green, but day by day they are turning red and yellow.
Now 30% leaves turn red and yellow.
As the photo shows, “maple” and “Cerasus nipponica var. kurilensis (Miyabe) H.Ohba” are really beautiful.

Recently in the morning and night it is cold, and in the afternoon it is warm.
This makes leaves turn red and yellow.
If you want to see the best view, it will take a few days.
Some “maple” is really red, beautiful.
