Just under Mt.Kurodake
“Therorhodion camtschaticum” is really good to see.
There are many buds, hikers can see for a while.
And also “Pennellianthus frutescens”, “Cassiope lycopodioides (Pall.) D.Don”, “Patrinia sibirica”, and “Dicentra peregrina” will be good time to see soon.
From 8th station of Mt.Kurodake to the top many kinds and number of wild flower start to bloom.

Mt.Akadake snow report

*Daiichi kaen
There is about 20m snow near the stream , about 40m snow over the sign, about 20m snow directly under the Miharasi dai.
The snow might be hard and slippery. Watch your step when crossing.
*Daini kaen
All trails is under the snow. At the top of Okunodaira hikers cross on 30m snow.
There is a maker sign on the snow.
when it’s foggy deeply, do not miss the sign.
*Daisan sekkei
There is no snow on the trail.
*Daiyon sekkei
Most of snow is gone.

Direction of Kumonotaira

Flower report in Kumonodaira
“Geum pentapetalum” and “Phyllodoce caerulea” are blooming beautifully.
It is very windy today.
It was very hard to take pictures.
For few days you can see beautiful flowers.

* Akaishi river has a lot of water, you can cross the river.
July 8th it was heavy rain, so July 9th it was increasing water,
it is calm today.
*About Mt.Hokuchin Junction
Snow on the trail is melting, but it is very steep trail.
When you go up and go down, watch your step.

Near Pon Kurodake 

Flower information near Mt.Ponkurodake and Ishimuro
“Therorhodion camtschaticum”that form a big community under the Mt.Kurodake summit started to bloom.
Walking to Mt.PonKurodake, you will see that “Cassiope lycopodioides (Pall.) D.Don” and “Dicentra peregrina” started to bloom, too.
The photo is “Cassiope lycopodioides (Pall.) D.Don” at Mt.Ponkurodake.
They form a wide community and will be full blooming.
Around Ishimuro “Geum pentapetalum” , “Phyllodoce caerulea” , “Rhododendron aureum” ,” Primula cuneifolia var. cuneifolia” started to bloom.
Some flower is best time to see.
*Yesterday brown bears have been spotted around Mt.Ponkurodake and Mt.Hokuchin
