Fall foliage at Daisetsu Kogen-numa

Kougen onsen numa meguri course that is the famous “autumn leaves” spot is good time to visit.
Kougennuma marsh, Daigakunuma marsh, Takiminuma marsh and Midorinuma marsh are getting better to see autumn leaves.
This weekend it will be the best time to see.
There is a traffic regulation from September 21th.

Before the traffic regulation hikers can go to the entrance by car.

At Mt.akadake leaves is turning to red!
Specially from Daisan sekkei to the top is now peak!

At Daiichi kaen is starting to turn to red.

Fall foliage report for Mt. Midori

At Mt.Midoridake autumn leaves is starting from ridgeline to middle of the mountain.
This weekend “tasuki no kouyou “( it is located on south of the mountain) will be the best time to see.
The ridgeline of Mt.Midori Arctous alpina var. japonica is really red! At Itagaki shindou Salix is turning to yellow.
Around Hakuun hut water to drink is getting small in quantity.
In the morning and night the temperature is very low.
Please bring something warm to wear when staying tent.
