Fall foliage report for Mt. Kurodake

Mt.Kurodake autumn leaves information
From the northwest slope of Mt,Kurodake to Kumonotaira
Sorbus matsumurana (Makino) Koehne ‘s leaves fall down because of last typhoon.

Depends on place some leaves and grass is getting deep color.
But it is like final atmosphere.
On Kumonodaira leaves and grasses keep their beautiful color but some leaves fall down or change dark color.
Northwest slope of Mt.Kurodake Sorbus matsumurana (Makino) Koehne ‘s leaves keep deep red color.
Betula ermanii and Weigela maximowiczii (S.Moore) Rehder turn to yellow.

Today is really clear and warm , sun is very strong.
But in the early morning the temperature was -5.
The weather is insecure.
It may snow.
Please prepare your gear and make a best plan and climb mountains safely.

Fall foliage report for Mt. Kurodake

At northwest of Mt.Kurodake Betula ermanii and Weigela middendorffiana turn to yellow.
With red leaves of Sorbus matsumurana (Makino) Koehne autumn leaves is very good time to see.
In the direction of Kumonotaira and the direction of Hokkaisawa leaves turn to deep red and deep yellow.
Whole mountains are like being on fire.
Soon leaves will start to defoliate.
We really worry about typoon.

Fall foliage at Ginsendai

Sorbus matsumurana (Makino) Koehne and Betula ermanii at Ginsendai is almost the best time to see.
This season both trees changed their leaves same time,and their leaves are really bright and deep color.
When you visit , don’t forget to bring your glaves and cap because the temperature is really cold.
