Sounkyo famous hiking course “Momijidani valley” and Sounkyo valley
Foyrtunately, we didn’t have any typhoon damages.
Momijidani and Sounkyo valley are still beautiful to see autumn leaves.
Many people pull over along Route39 and see autumn leaves and take photos.
Be careful of traffic accidents.
And many people visit Momijidani.
We have few parking spaces, please walk to Momijidani.

Seeing from our visitor center, everywhere is Autumn color.
Route 39 from Kamikawa town to Mikuni pass is beautiful.
It’s a fiery mountains.
But a big typhoon is coming soon.
We hope these beautiful leaves will stay.
So we cancel our center lectures.

Autumn leaves are still beautiful for a long time.
Momijidani and gorge are both good to see them.
We hope a typhoon will pass without big damages.

Please come and visit Sounkyo before autumn leaves has gone.

Yesterday it snowed around Daisetuzan mountains range.
The contrast of white snow and red and yellow leaves is very beautiful.

But on the mountains if the weather change for the worse, it will snow in this time.
Without winter equipment, hikers might have a big accident.
Keep your mind that winter has come on the mountain, prepare for a full equipment!
Without trying too much, have a safety hiking.

Hurry and see these beautiful autumn leaves.
When driving to Sounkyo, Sounkyo valley along national highway is very beautiful.
When parking along the road, be on the lookout for cars.
And also route 39 is under the construction, be careful, too.

When visiting Momijidani, please walk to there.
Because there is few parking space.
It takes about 10minutes to walk to Momijidani from visitor center.
Please use free multi-storey car park.
Someone park their cars along the road (because they can’t park their cars.), the others are annoying that they can’t take photos.
