Sounkyo gorge and Momijidani valley

Both sightseeing spots are good to see.
But in this afternoon it was heavy rain and strong wind, many leaves are falling down.
We hope that this wind will stop.

On the top of gorge and Mmijidani valley is really beautiful.

But from this weekend a typhoon is coming.
We hope this condition keep.

When going to Momijidani valley, don’t drive, walk there please.
Because many people visit there, there is not enough parking space.
We appreciate your cooperation.

Autumn leaves about today’ Sounkyo gorge
As photos show, some leaves are really red. They are so beautiful.
Some leaves are now peak.
Day by day the color is getting better.
We hope the typhoon won’t come to Sounkyo.

“Autumn leaves street” start!
Comparing to yesterday, we found the leaves are better and more beautiful.
“Autumn leaves street from Sounkyo to Mikuni pass” will be peak.
But now is beautiful, too.
Green leaves and yellow leaves and red leaves are mixed.
It makes a good contrast.

*typhoon is approaching to Hokkaido.
We hope autumn leaves keep beauty.

The famous sightseeing spot “Momijidani valley”

Day by day red leaves are getting bright.
As photo shows, some maple leaves are really red and beautiful.

At Momijidani valley until October 14th we held “amazing illumination” that is autum leaves event.

We light up leaves every night.
If you go there, please walk there.

Sounkyo gorge
Day by day leaves are getting brighter.
Many leaves are still green. Many tourists take photos.

The beginning of October weather forecast says that big typhoon is coming.
We hope these beautiful leaves stay and keep.

And due to this typhoon road and pass and forest road might close.
We don’t recommend you to go hiking
Because on the mountains it will snow.
