Ginsendai autumn leaves report

Leaf’s color is getting mad red.
Soon they will be peak color.
And now “” is turning beautiful red.

The east slope Of Mt.Kurodake autumn foliage report
Guradually coloring is better.
Temperature high since past a few days.
It makes autumn foliage go slowly at Mt.Kurodake.
Some of “Rowan” has already been red, most of Leaves are yellow green.
The second picture is blow the Manakiiwa .
Depends on the place “Rowan” is good time to see.
Today wind is very strong, leaves turn over.
So we could not take good pictures.
We are sorry.

Mt.Akadake　Autumn foliage report
At Daiichi kaen autumn foliage is getting beautiful.
Some parts are good time to see.
The other parts are still green.
Autumn foliage’s peak takes more time.

The upper side at Daini kaen autumn foliage starts.
“Arctous alpina var. japonica ”at Komakusadaira is getting really good red.

At Daisan sekkei some leaves of “Sorbus matsumurana” are falling or coloring.
We can see until this weekend.

At Daiyon sekkei at both side of trail and upper side of trail
Autumn foliage is getting beautiful.

Day by day Autumn foliage is getting more beautiful.

Momijidani course

This course is about 700m and takes 30minutes one way.
It’s a pretty good walking course.
As the name suggests, autumn foliage (maple) is very beautiful.

Here in Sounkyo autumn foliage is still early.
“Quercus crispula Blume” that is near the entrance bears fruits.
“Acer japonicum” is coloring a little. (Look at picture, please.)
“Aconitum sachalinense subsp. yezoense , “Actaea simplex
” and “Nepeta subsessilis “ are blooming now.
There is Momijidani waterfall at the end of this course.
All the year we can see it.
But in particular from the end of September to the beginning of October “Maple” is so beautiful and amazing.
We will be sharing updates regularly.
If you are difficult to walk up to the mountain, we recommend “Kamuinomori forest trail” that is 7th station of Mt.Kurodake and “Momijidani walking course”.
