Autumn foliage report in Mt. kurodake

From summit to Pon kurodake, the leaf called Arctous alpinus var. japonicus is now turning autumn colors. Also, in the 9th level, the leaf called Sorbus Matsumurana is changing as well.
.
The Temperature around Kurodake Ishimuro hut was only 5 degrees in the early morning on 26th and today 27th was 4 degrees. But that coldness is not enough condition to make the leaf coloring.
Sorbus Matsumurana in Kumonotaira and Hokkaisawa are little bit changing but these are still mainly green colors.

Unfortunately, the weather forecast says that it will be warm and the temperature will be around 10 to 14 degrees in the next few days, so we won’t be able to see the autumn foliage immediately.

Compare to the last year, the changing color is about the same speed. Currently it is not good time to see the beautiful autumn colors but it might be change unpredictably depend on the weather conditions.
