December starts today.
Only one month left in this year.
Today the temperature is above 0°in Sounkyo.
It keeps snowing with strong wind.
Weather forecast says that it will be snowy for a while and the temperature wii be
under -10°.
In Mt.Kurodake ski area there is 130cm snow.
Amount snow is almost same as last season.

In the gorge you can see “ice fall”, that is so beautiful.

We has published ‘Center News November vol.94’. This month’s cover is ‘Hunting Red Fox’
When we see red foxes jump and hunt their food, we feel they are really wild.

And the others are ‘autumn leaves in central Kamikawa town’ , ‘Intimidation of Cervus nippon yesoensis’ , ‘autumn leaves of Quercus crispula Blume’ and ’Baby birds of Bombycilla japonica’

It is calm and clear after a week storm.
It has been a nice weather since early morning, and the temperature is rising.
We can see Mt.Niseikausyuppe.
That is so beautiful.
When taking for a walk, we met “red fox” that has already worn winter far perfectly.
Looking up to the sky, we saw “Haliaeetus albicilla”
We always can see many animals walking in good weather.

Mt.Kurodake ski area open on November 22nd.
Today it is very windy.
But Kurodake ropeway operates today for the first time in a week.
Because it has been bad weather.
They have got enough snow to open ski area.
Tomorrow they will open.
Snow must be better snow than you imagine.
Please come and enjoy skiing and snowboading.

Before you come to Mt.Kurodake ski area, please ask ropeway station.
because sometimes they don’t operate because of strong wind.

He ran away to find walnuts.
For wild animals a lot of snow will be hard winter.

Weather is still bad.
Everyday strong wind blows and it snow.
The amount of snow reaches 70cm in a few days.
Mt.Kurodake ropeway cannot operate for a week because of this strong wind.
We guess snow is enough to operate ski area
After this storm pass, Mt.Kurodake ski area will open.
