Kougen onnsen　numameguri course open.

Round trip course in Kougenonsen opened.
This course had been closed by 2016’s big typhoon damage.

After 2016’s typhoon, river water increased, the flow was changed.
River crossing point was difficult to walk.
We put stones in the river and repaired to cross the river.

But for 3 years none walked this trail.
It is not easy to find hiker’s footsteps.
Many rocks are having moss.
It is very slippery.
This course is difficult for beginning hikers.
Hikers need high technic to walk more than round trip to Mt.Kurodake and Mt.Akadake.
Kougen onsen numameguri course is Grade 3 inDaisetuzan hiking grade.
But we think this course is grade 4.
When hikers do round trip, please wear trekking boots.
It’s safe.

*This course is not easy. Please prepare your trekking gear.

Autumn leaves report :Kougen onsen
The picture is “Takimi numa swamp”
This coloring is 20%~30%.

As usual from September 20th will be good time to see.
We hope that it will be good weather.

Autumn leaves report :around Ohachi daira
As shown in the pictures, leaves are beautiful.
We hope that this red will get darker.
Yesterday it was hailing, sleeting, snowing.
We are worried about bad weather’s impact.

Autumn leaves report :Mt.Akadake
At Daiichi kaen autumn leaves is getting better, and about to be autumn leaves peak.
Green leaves is decreasing, “Sorbus matsumurana” is turning orange color.
“Betula ermanii” is turning yellow. This yellow leaves set off the red leaves.
At the top of Daini kaen red leaves are so beautiful, good coloring.
At Komakusadaira we can see very red “Arctous alpina var. japonica”

At Daisan sekkei some leaves of“Sorbus matsumurana” is falling.
At the lower part and right part of Daisan sekkei is still beautiful.
We can see them for a while.

Near the trail of Daiyon sekkei and at the top part of Daiyon sekkei some leaves are falling.
But the other leaves are still beautiful.

Autumn leaves report :Kumonodaira
Leaves starts turning red. As shown in the picture, “Sorbus matsumurana” is really beautiful.
There are still green leaves. Depends on weather, it will turn red.
Grass plants like “Geum pentapetalum” and “Vaccinium uliginosum” and “Salix reinii” is getting beautiful.
