Cervus nippon yesoensis

◎Hakuundake Refuge Hut Rebuild
From the end of June till beginning of October 2020, the Hakuundake Refuge Hut will be undergoing a full rebuild. Accommodation is by camping only, and hikers are asked not to use the campground on (and the day preceding) weekends and public holidays, as camping space will be severely limited.
◎Kurodake Ishimuro Hut (prevention of spread of infection)
・There is no manager at hut and camping site this year.
・They don’t rent sleepingbag and don’t sell water, food.
・Ishimuro is only used for refuge hut. In an emergency, hikers can stay.
・Hikers can use camping site. It might be very crowded, you need best hiking plan.
・About toilet it will be very crowded, bring disposable toilet bag. There are disposable toilet booths.
This year Hiking is more likely to be danger.
Please prepare a relax and realistic hiking plan. Have a good and safety hiking.

Momijidani Valley

Momijidani
All snow is gone.
But there is fallen trees and rocks.

On hiking course “Rhododendron albrechtii” and “Menziesia pentandra”are blooming.
“Aconitum gigas” will full bloom soon.

Pteromys volans orii
