Day by day snow on Daisetsuzan is melting.
“Ishikari river” that is the biggest river in Hokkaido flows very hard and quick.

If you plan to climb mountains, you need full gear and experiment for hiking mountains in winter.

That is old, but bear may eat Japanese butterbur.

Be careful when picking wild plants.
I found brown bear’s excrement many times and very close village.
