Mt.Midoridake autumn leaves report
On the ridgeline of Mt.Midoridake autumn leaves are so beautiful.
“Arctous alpina var. japonica” pasted its peak But it is still beautiful.
“Sorbus matsumurana” is now its peak.
Autumn leaves are moving to low elevation place.

It will be cold from September 13th, so it might snow.
When you go to mountains, bring something warm to wear.

Fall foliage report for Mt. Kurodake

Mt.Kurodake autumn leaves report

We said that after weekend temperature would be down (last post 9/2).
But it changed.
This week temperature is around 5°c.

And against all expectation, the temperature at Kurodake ishimuro is around 2°c in the early morning.
“Sorbus matsumurana” from the northeast slope of Mt.Kurodake to Observation deck of Ohachidaira is getting beautiful red.

On the whole yellow green leaves turn orange color.
Some leaves are really beautiful.
You can see really red “Sorbus matsumurana”.
Autumn leaves turn on.

“Arctous alpina var. japonica” is really beautiful from Mt.Kurodake to Ohachidaira.

Autumn leaves will be better day by day unless temperature stays high.
We are looking forward to see amazing autumn leaves.

Fall foliage report for Mt. Aka

Mt.Akadake autumn leaves report

Leaves on the trail to Mt.Akadake begins to turn red.
This photo is not clear to find coloring, but we can say, ”Leaves are turning red at Daiichikaen.”

At the upper of Dainikaen “Sorbus matsumurana” is coloring,
on the other hand “Phyllodoce aleutica” are still blooming.
Because Daisetsuzan have much snow, so we can see summer and autumn together.

At the upper of Daisan sekkei red leaves are more beautiful than pictures.
From the summit of Mt.Akadake to Koizumidaira, Hananosawa “Arctous alpina var. japonica”is very beautiful.

Snow on the trail at Hananosawa has gone.
But at the bottom of Itagaki shindou there is a big snow gorge.
It is very hard and slippery.
Watch your step.

At mountain ridge the wind is chilly, so prepare something warm to wear.
Please have an autumn hiking.
