At the entrance of Mt. Akadake some people were roared by bear.

Sieversia pentapetala and Phyllodoce caerulea are blooming in narrow space.

The flow is calm and slow.

Hikers can walk over the river.

*Around junction of Mt.Hokushindake’s snow gorge

*Mt.Yuni-ishikaridake Hikers can climb by using bypass.
*Mt.Ishikaridake hikers can walking along the ridge of a mountain from Mt.Yuniishikaridake. they recommend that hikers had better to stay at Buyosawa camping site because this trekking is hard.
*Mt.Nipesotuyama now “Horoka curse “that we have never used generally is under the construction .
Hikers will be able to use this course in this season.
But this course is also hard, we recommend that hikers had better to stay one night at camping site.

Remaining snow around Mt.Akadake course
Forest in front of the Dai-ici kaen’s sign only has 5m snow.
Dai-ni kaen has about 50m snow
Dai-san sekkei has about 33m snow
Dai-yon sekkei has no snow around the trail.
The most careful place is Dai-san sekkei.
If you climb down carefully, it’s Ok.

Talking about blooming, we feel that the number of the flowers booming at the place where has still snow is few.
Around Okunotaira and Dai-san sekkei the flowers will bloom soon.

Around Mt,Hakuundake hut

Aconitum yamazakii and Geranium erianthum form. pallescens and Gentiana algida f. igarashii are blooming now. The number of the flowers is fewer than average year.
  • Gentiana algida f. igarashii : Although blooming can be seen everywhere, the flowers are not yet in full bloom.

Mt. Midori course flowering report

*Mt.Midoridake information
Mt.Midoridake trail that had much snow left has only 20m snow.
In some place the alpine flowers passed their peak.
In Mt.Midoridake from Daiichi kaen to Eikonosawa Primula cuneifolia var. cuneifolia
is blooming now.
In a few days their blooming peak will go to the end,
Hurry up to see them.
Gentiana algida f. igarashii that booms finally in many alpine flowers in Daisetuzan and called”the last starflower” is about to bloom near the Hakuun hut .
Soon they are blooming. But it takes more time to bloom all.
The careworker at Hakuun hut said that some foxes moved around camping site and tried to take hiker’s food.
Please be careful to keep your food.
