From 17th to 18th snow fell on the plains and on the mountainous area.
In October snow falls intermittently.
Today 20th snow on the road melted.
(When you drive pass, you have to change tires for winter.)
Autumn finished, from now winter season starts!

Today is really clear and sunny in Sounkyo.
Yesterday it snowed all day.
In the morning and evening the temperature was 1~4 degrees.
Please warm yourself up and visit Sounkyo.
Autumn leaves around Sounkyo gorge has almost finished.
Most of leaves turn to brown and fell down.
Some place you can see beautiful leaves.
(day by day leave’s color will change because of snow.)

Mountainous area is totally covered with snow.
Season is winter !!!
(Don’t climb with summer gear. It’s very dangerous.)

Today it is warm, too.
The temperarure is rising to 18℃.
Today is good to walk in the autumn leaves.
Some leaves fell down, some leaves turned to deep and bright color.
Many tourists walked along route 39 to see autumn leaves.
Today is a beautiful sunny day and leaves is really bright and beautiful.
How healthy walking to see autumn leaves is!

*when you visit to see autumn leaves,be careful to walk and to drive along route 39.

Early morning in front of visiter center the lowest temperature was 8℃.
Now it is rising to 1 5℃
Sounkyo gorg is good time to see. Many people visit here and see autumn leaves and take many photos.

Along the main road Route 39 leaves is really beautiful.
There is few parking space, please drive safely.
