Fall foliage report for Mt. Kurodake

Mt,Kurodake autumn leaves report
It has been very hot since last week.
We went to Mt.Kurodake on Sep. 1st and 4th.
But it wasn’t changed.
We didn’t post.
Even so it is getting cold in the morning and at night.
Green leaves are turning autumn color gradually.
Today we went to see leaves, coloring is getting better.
Particularly leaves around Manekiiwa at the 9th station of Mt.Kurodake and the top of Mt.Kurodake to both sides of Akaishi river are becoming more beautiful than last post.

But most of leaves are “green” or “yellow green”.
It’s like red and orange stains in green leaves.
“Arctous alpina var. japonica” is best time to see.
Some of plants turned red earlier than another plans, now they are getting black.
There are many leaves around there.
So for a while we will see beautiful autumn leaves.

Weather forecast says that temperature stays high because of big typhoon.
We will see how temperature and weather go on.

Today it was extremely hot. It was 20°c at 7th station of Mt.Kurodake.
We are worry that high temperature makes leaves burn.

(Later of this week temperature will go down. On Sep.14th it will be 3°c!!!
This temperature is just a forecast! )
