The snow is melting, we can see the surface of mountain.

Mt.kurodake still has 3m snow deep.
Yesterday’s report says that we can see only the roof of “Kurodake isimuro”.
Compared with 2016, this year has much snow.

Watching feature weather report, we are afraid this year’s trekking will be hard because
of snow.

We went to the famous place and good view place “Momijidani
Snow is almost melting. There are only 3 snow spots.
But there is a large space beneath snow as more snow melt.
If you hike through snowy George in such area, you may fall and sustain serious injuries.
Please watch your steps.
Wearing sneakers is difficult to walk.
But snow is continuing to melt.
In a few days snow will soon disappear.

Finally in Sounkyo George spring has come.
This morning the lowest temperature was 5℃。
Every morning and night ,it is still cold.
Flowers feel spring .
From now you can see “fresh green mountains”.
Weather forecast says that it will be warmer from middle
of this week.

“Ezo cherry” is the season!
I took this photo at Kamikawa town that is 2was0km far from Sounkyo Geoge.
Blooming was May 9th.
Blooming is one day later than last year.
“Fist” and “Rhododendron dauricum” make me feel spring.
And here in Soukyo George ,we can see “Rhododendron dauricum” and “Ezo cherry” blooming on the rock wall.
It celebrates the fresh green of the season!
